Sites I've built, and how.

Three mortgage brokers in Manly and a Sydney pattern shop. Here's what each business needed and what went into its site.

Mortgage broker · Manly

Astute Manly

Sam Ayliffe, a mortgage broker with Astute Manly.

What Sam needed

A site of Sam's own that says plainly who Sam helps and how, and makes booking a chat the easy next step. The licence details had to sit clearly in the footer.

What I built

  • Five pages: home, services, calculators, about Sam and contact.
  • Services from first homes, upgrading and refinancing to investors, plus car, personal and business finance, insurance and wealth.
  • Three calculators: repayments, refinance savings and extra repayments.
  • A contact form for booking a chat by phone, video call or at the office.
  • A private client pipeline for the team: a passcode-locked list where each loan moves from onboarded to settlement, with priorities, days in each stage and a summary.

Mortgage broker · Manly

Tide Financial

John Kennedy's mortgage broking business in Manly, built around refinancing.

What John needed

John's point is simple: most people refinance to the cheapest rate and leave the rest to the new bank. The site had to make that point in the first few seconds and turn it into a 15-minute call.

What I built

  • A home page led by "Stop overpaying on your mortgage", over a photo of Manly beach.
  • A services page with its own pages for refinancing, home loans, and investment and business lending.
  • Three calculators: repayments, refinance savings and extra repayments.
  • An about page on John's background inside Westpac, NAB and ANZ.
  • A contact form that picks the right topic from whichever button the visitor tapped.
  • A private client pipeline for the team, with stage dates, days in each stage, file owners and a morning summary.

Mortgage broker · Manly

Avala Finance

Marko Paunovic's mortgage broking business, based in Manly.

What Marko needed

To show why a broker gets further than going straight to your bank, and that you deal with one person from the first chat to settlement.

What I built

  • A scroll-driven video opening with the Avala name.
  • A side-by-side of your bank and a broker who compares 25+ lenders.
  • The five steps from a quick chat to settlement, in plain words.
  • Marko's story, Google reviews, calculators, and services from home loans to car, personal and equipment finance.

Online shop · Sydney

Resting Stitch Face

A Sydney shop selling modern PDF cross-stitch patterns, also on Etsy.

What the shop needed

A shop of its own next to Etsy, with the patterns front and centre and buying done in a few taps.

What I built

  • A shop with 40 pattern pages, sorted into series like the Bowl Series, Illusions, 90s Nostalgia and Sweet Treats.
  • A bag and a secure checkout through Stripe, with card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • How it works and download help, the shop's policies and a contact form.
